Description
Lustro 2021 is a natural wine crafted by Abbazia San Giorgio, on the hot and volcanic Pantelleria island outside Sicily and Italy. … but not too far from Africa either! This orange wine is made with Catarratto grapes. This wine is macerated on the skins for around 7 days, then aged for 4 months in stainless steel and refined for a further 2 months in bottle.
We have not yet tried this vintage but hear it is a fragrant macerated Catarratto with lemon peel, bitter orange, orange blossom, pineapple and passion fruit, finished with a subtle herbal touch. Fresh and expressive, with bright citrus, gentle texture and tangy finish.
