Description
Rosato Frizzante 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Fabio Signorelli, on the Etna volcano of Sicily, Italy. This mildly sparkling Rosé wine is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, which are of course grown on the volcanic soils of the region.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by a second fermentation in bottle. Fabio uses reserved grape must rather than added sugar to trigger the refermentation. The wine is left undisgorged and unfiltered, but as you see, features a cork closure so we imagine will not be as sparkling as a Sekt or Cremant
