Description
Pamina 2020 by L’Octavin is a natural wine made in Jura with Chardonnay grapes taken from 40 year old vines, of Alice Bouvot’s domain fruit in the La Mailloche plot outside of Arbois. Here Jurassic Marl, limestone and sandy soils give vibrancy to the direct press of the grapes, which spend 24 months in neutral oak barrels before being bottled, without sulphur as with all of Domaine de l’Octavin wines. Expect a nose of pear candies, hazelnuts and a sherry-like quality. Yum!!
