Description
Paparazza by Lammidia is a Pet Nat wine made in Abruzzo with
Trebbiano, Pecorino, Chardonnay and Traminer, which is actually the same grape as Savagnin. This vintage has a very yeasty, beer like quality so please be aware before buying
Production details of Paparazza: Paparazza is a Pet Nat made by childhood friends Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani at Lammidia in Abruzzo, Italy. Their 1-hectare vineyard sits on clay and limestone soils with vines averaging 25 years old. The blend brings together Trebbiano, Pecorino, Chardonnay and Traminer (the same grape as Savagnin). They farm using a lunar-calendar approach with no tilling, recycling plant matter into mulch. The wine ferments in bottle for its natural fizz.
Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Paparazza by Lammidia, but we hear it has notes of peach, pear, citrus, tropical hints and a robust bubble grip.
