Description
Place: Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale
Grape: Chenin Blanc
Vibe: Generous
This is the grape at its best. Generous on ripe fruit and flavour but without losing its puckering vein of acid. Barrel ferment and time on lees bring us texture that complements the pithy, savoury side of the grape very nicely. More serious than the price tag suggests, in Europe Chenin that looks this good will be costing you double. Blewitt Springs, the gift that keeps on giving. 12.5% ABV
