Tavel-inspired, they said. What they’ve actually made is something that blows most Tavel clean out of the water. On par with, and perhaps even pipping, the mighty L’Anglore. Yes. I never thought I’d be saying that, about something ‘New World’ but here we are. This is utterly divine. Like Tavel before it got scorchingly hot. Pretty, alluringly perfumed, with just a faint whisper of structure to pull you back time and time again. A subtle savoriness that channels big ‘lizard wine’ energy. Oh, and you can drink this without a short hop on the Eurostar.
