Ardbeg 17 Years Old “The Legend Returns”
The smoky icon reimagined. A long-awaited revival of a peaty classic.
Ardbeg’s 17 Year Old expression was first launched in the late 1990s, a softer, more rounded take on Islay’s most famously peated malt. Now, “The Legend Returns” in spectacular fashion, honouring the original while bringing in a new era of refinement and balance.
This re-release delivers everything Ardbeg fans love: deep maritime smoke, citrus oil zing, crushed mint, and smouldering herbal complexity, all mellowed beautifully by nearly two decades of cask maturity. Rich and layered, it’s the kind of dram that demands attention but rewards every slow sip.
Crafted in limited quantities, this is a must for collectors and fans of Ardbeg’s evolving history.
