Le Ciel Est Bleu 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Bobinet, in the Loire region in France. This sparkling wine is made with Grolleau Gris, Chenin Blanc and Grolleau grapes and it tastes absolutely awesome at just 10% too, with a strong nod to raspberry cordial and herbs, and a lively, persistent bubble structure kinda similar to a Cremant more than a Pet Nat.
How is Le Ciel Est Bleu made?
A sparkling blend of Chenin Blanc with Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris from Bobinet’s vines around Saumur, sitting at a very light 10%. The fine, persistent bubble makes it feel closer to a Crémant than a wild pet nat, which is why it works so well as an aperitif.
