Description
Pistils 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Domaine Bariou-Bodet, in the Loire region in France. This white wine is made with Chenin Blanc grapes, which are grown on vines between 20-45 years old, located in Cheillé and Lignières-de-Touraine. The soils are general stony silt over flint clay.
Expect a nice reduction here, with a mineralic edge. Notes of bruised apples, ripe pear, wet stone and lime zest follow, with a somewhat crisp yet creamy finish. A nice Chenin for sure and good value too
