Very old vines, low yielding anyway but planted on rootstock that specifically lowers the yields further. 50% whole bunch in the ferment adds a bit of freshness and spice to this concentrated beauty. Dense in the classic mould, offering layer upon layer of slowly unfurling complexity. If you want to drink this soon, I’d definitely give it a spell in the decanter, otherwise put her to sleep for a few years and be handsomely rewarded. ABV: 15.5%
