Description
Claret 2023 is a natural wine crafted by La Rural, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This red wine is made with 80% Macabeu, 10% Sumoll and 10% Ull De Llebre grapes, otherwise known as Tempranillo.
The Catalan vines here are aged between 6 and 35 years, planted around Santes Creus at roughly 316–408 metres altitude on lime-clay soils with river stones. The grapes undergo 6 days of skin contact before gentle pressing, followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is then aged in stainless steel. No added sulphites to our knowledge
