Campanien represents the chalk subsoil of the reigon, the chalk being an accumulation of marine microorganisms formed from -83Ma – 72Ma. COOL. All meunier (YAY), 12 month in barrel on lees, before bottled with grape must, no dosage. Disgorged in July 2023.
This, after 3 years since disgorgement, is in a very, very sweet spot. Vinous and umami laden, this needs big stems.
