Description
The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Figurado is a rich and refined cigar that showcases the depth and complexity of expertly aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. Handcrafted in Nicaragua, this box-pressed Figurado combines premium Jalapa ligero fillers with a Nicaraguan Habano binder and a dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, creating a full-flavoured smoking experience with remarkable balance.
Named in honour of Melanio Oliva, the first member of the Oliva family to cultivate tobacco, the Melanio series represents the pinnacle of the brand’s craftsmanship. The Maduro version builds upon the award-winning Melanio blend, adding extra richness and intensity while maintaining the smooth character that has made the range so highly regarded.
From the first draw, notes of espresso and dark cocoa establish a deep, satisfying foundation. Layers of cedar, earth and leather follow, creating a complex profile that develops steadily throughout the smoke. As the cigar progresses, subtle hints of molasses sweetness emerge, balancing the darker flavours and adding further depth.
The distinctive Figurado shape enhances the experience by concentrating the flavours as the cigar narrows, allowing the blend to evolve beautifully from start to finish. Full bodied, elegant and expertly constructed, this is a cigar that rewards both attention and time.
