Some orange wines are meant to be swirled, contemplated, discussed for hours. And some are just meant to be drunk. Guess which one this is? Half the fruit went to barrel for some quality time on the lees, the other half was left on skins for six months to draw out some tart, gingery spice. The aromatics here are all orange blossom and herbs, while the flavours tend towards mandarins and a slight bitter edge reminiscent of Campari. Proper interesting while still being proper drinkable. Proper good, basically. ABV: 13.9%
