Description
Place: Bugey, France
Grape: Gamay
Vibe: Supple
Younger vine fruit, fully destemmed and given a gentle 3-week maceration. What we get is a wine packed with wild blueberries, dried flowers, and a little hint of wet leaves. An alpine twist on the variety that I’m very much enamored with. Herbal, mineral, elegant and very much alive. Upper echelon Gamay. ABV: 13.5%
