Description
Place: Côtes-du-Rhône, France
Grape: Grenache + Syrah + Mourvedre
Vibe: New Wave Rhone
Stupidly good CDR, named after Wil’s late grandfather who would heroically open a bottle most mornings before midday. King. Pure and instantly pleasurable, I can see this fitting dangerously into my go-to rotation. Plenty of cherry fruit, a lick of herb, and a faint crack of pepper. I’ll be drinking this en masse, just as Wil’s grandfather would have done. You should too. ABV: 14%
