Description
This is a wonderful example of Japanese whisky at its best. It’s a single malt filled with concentrated aromas of truffle, marmalade and lavender, backed by deep oloroso sherry. The palate reveals layers of heather, cigar leaf, honeycomb, toffee-apple and rich plum wine, with subtle hints of rancio. Matured primarily in sherry butts, with some American and Mizunara oak, this is a malt with an unrivalled complexity.
