Description
Vinyle 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Marie Bourdon, in the Jura region in France. This white wine is made with Chardonnay grapes.
The grapes are directly pressed, followed by a light settling of the juice. Fermentation and ageing take place for around 12 months, split equally between 228 L old barrels and stainless-steel tanks. The two parts are blended before bottling, with no added sulphur.
We sampled it from the Coravin in August 2026 and noticed a prominent waft of reduction Volatile Acidity on the nose, leading to a lean Chardonnay palate. It could be a thing with the Coravin and an opened bottle, so we need to try again properly
