Description
Synin 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Alice Bouvot of Domaine de L’Octavin, in the Jura region in France. This Red-White blended wine (in the form of a faux-Rosè) is made with Chenin Blanc and Syrah grapes, which really is quite an unusual and fun mix! It’s called Synin as a reference the Syrah and Chenin, hence Synin.
Tasting this gives off an explosion of unexpected flavours. We found notes of peach sorbet and sheeps wool (!) on the nose leading to mango, lychee, rose water and apricot bubblegum – all underlined with a vibrant high acidity typical of l’Octavin!
This one is for lovers of the wild and unusual!
