Direct-pressed Gris from a single limestone parcel, aged in a three-year-old Stückfass (1,200L) for two years on full lees. The extended élevage has shaped a wine of crystaline clarity and complexity.
It opens with a flinty, smoky reduction thanks to all that time on lees but give it air, and it unfurls beautifully into layers of citrus, herbs, and stony minerality. It’s a wine that moves, shifts, demands your full attention. There’s so much to unpack here. Words fall short of how much I love this wine. Just buy it, you thank me later. Limited. ABV: 12.5%
