Description
Mineral – Savoury – Quince – Bay
The Durrmann family make wine from their old family house in the middle of Andlau, a beautiful village nestled on the first slopes of the Vosges mountains, south-west of Strasbourg.
This lovely orange pet nat is mineral and savoury, with developed fruit and intense flavours of quince and bay leaf. From parcels over schist, Pinot Blanc (50%) was macerated for three weeks before blending with the direct-press Pinot Gris and direct-press Pinot Blanc (25/25%). These continued fermentation together before bottling to finish fermentation in the bottle. Disgorged and capped, no dosage.
Grapes: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris
