Description
Place: Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy
Grape: Tocai Friulano + Malvasia + Ribolla
Vibe: Natural + Unique
The wine that made me fall in love with the producer. South facing on the warmest side of the region, some vines dating back to 1910. A week of maceration in concrete for a golden hued masterpiece. Candied fruit, dried herbs, so much citrus pith. Nothing chewy or astringent either. Lifted by a healthy amount of acidity and with a so much depth of flavour but just so effortless. The most immediate of the range, and a must taste for anyone who enjoys macerated wine that transcends. ABV: 12.5%
